Who We Are
Good Samaritan Ministries is a tax-exempt organization, established in 1985 by The Carbondale Interfaith Council, to provide services to the needy in the Carbondale area.
What We Do
We provide an emergency shelter, a transitional housing program, a soup kitchen, a food pantry, and an emergency assistance program.

The donations we receive from the community make up a little over one-half of our budget.
It is truly because of our supportive and caring community that we have kept our doors open since 1983.
